Lindsay, a New Jersey native, earned her degree in Modern Culture and Media from Brown University, where she explored the intersections of media, society, and cultural formations. Following graduation, she worked in strategy consulting for data center clients in San Francisco. Currently pursuing a PhD in Architecture, Landscape, and Urban Planning, Lindsay's research focuses on the interplay of environmental media and philosophy, with a particular emphasis on the history of computer-aided design (CAD) software and digital infrastructure planning. Her academic journey has given her a unique perspective on navigating higher education and identifying pathways for intellectual and professional growth.
Lindsay has substantial teaching experience at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, having served as a Teaching Assistant at Brown University and Harvard University. Her teaching portfolio includes courses such as Channeling Race: Television and Race in America, Digital Media, Experimental Narrative, and Image Manipulation.
